Iyola Kingwatsiak

Iyola Kingwatsiak’s wife Pootoogook is a graphic artist. Several of his siblings are or were also artists in Cape Dorset. His sister the late Tye Adla (1936-1990) was a carver and graphic artist. Two other sisters, the late Keeleemeeoomee Samualie (1919-1983) and Anna Kingwatsiak (1911-1971), were graphic artists. Iyola’s brother Mikigak Kingwatsiak is also a carver and graphic artist.
