Ohotaq Mikkigak (1936–2014) began drawing in the early years of the studios’ operation. His first print, Eskimo Fox Trapper, was released in 1961. He then worked for various community agencies until he retired and resumed drawing. He had a solo exhibition of prints and drawings in 2010. Mikkigak’s images on the notecards in this set exemplify the renowned Inuit style from the oldest continually operating print studios in Canada.
